It turns out hiccups are not all fun and games, afterall. Medical science aside, several years ago, I realized that if I open my mouth to full capacity (don't hurt yourself), and then held my breath for 20-30 seconds, my hiccups would cease. The next time you get hiccups in a public location (such as Walmart, your local library, or standing next to some hungry sea lions), try this out!
