He was a well known racist when a bunch of us went to Bradley. I even saw him play the violin (or some stringed instrument) once at the Bradley music center. He was pretty good. Such a waste.

I knew, I just KNEW that this link would be about Matt Hale. And it makes me so very angry to see him getting any press whatsoever - even if it is about the happy possibility of him in prison, with many angry African-American men...

Excellent point, Amy! I almost felt that all was right with the world when I read that he might end up living with the very people he despises. Anyone who went to Bradley in the early 90's knows about Matt Hale... he was very well-known for stirring up trouble on campus even after he left BU.

Well, I'm glad that I was a better roommate than at least one other person would have been... God, please let them lock him up for a long time!
