The Pictures That Have Been Promised! (Odd Musings)
Well, here are the finished pics of Project Red Room. I was mildly horrified after the last coat, because it looked so... red. But I've gotten used to it, and it has dried darker.
Cotton Candy On Crack (The color, not Dave)
Finally painting red! And it looks like a bloodbath!
Being silly, I painted a little heart for Dave. Little did I know at the time that since it wasn't "feathered," even after 3 coats, you can still see the damn thing if you look for it.
The results! It looks even darker because of the blinding bright light coming from the window. That just makes it darker somehow for some reason.
We LOVE the contrast of the white with the walls. There's still a lot of touch-up to be done, but we're overall pretty stoked about how it all turned out.
Tarot was just pretty happy about having his bed back.
So happy, in fact, that he was gracious enough to calm down for about 0.12 seconds so I could snap this picture.

Sweet! You know, every time we watch "Trading Spaces" we are horrified that they throw paint on the wall to demonstrate the colors for exactly that show-through raeson. But hey, your wall is so personalized now - and beautiful!
