Yo! you shouldn't be shy with your friends ... we all know you are a tiger ... and you can take on ANY of those caterers and reception halls with their Nazi-like imposition of rules and restrictions!
You should have the reception right outside their property ... with tents and stuff ...and then you can have it YOUR way!
They should know not to mess around with a woman who wants to get married on Halloween!
